We recognise and value the knowledge, skill, dedication and enthusiasm that goes into the production of great wine. We appreciate the wine in and of itself, as well as the ritual associated with consuming the great unicorn wines that are highly sought after by many oenophiles. We love the engaging discussions with fellow wine enthusiasts, while enjoying a glass of wine.

Through reflection, we realise that the thing we enjoy the most is wine's enhancement of our experiences, and that the "wine ceremony", is but one facet of the overall experience.

It is frequently asserted that wine is something only a select few can properly enjoy, elitist so to speak, and that significant steps must be taken to make it more accessible to the general public. At the heart of these statements is an appeal to the wine industry to facilitate broader, simplified access to wine for a wider audience. This has been a topic of ongoing discussion for decades and many have offered and continue to offer innovative and thoughtful solutions. This becomes clear when you look for instance at the increased number of wine certifications awarded to casual wine drinkers over the past ten to fifteen years. The proverbial teacher is therefore readily available, corkscrew in hand, for the student who is keen to learn. For this we are eternally thankful!

Has there been a recent increase in interest in the democratisation of wine, or is this simply an ongoing debate with a periodic resurgence? What is brand and is it significant in today's landscape? The global canned wine market is valued at $298.69* million. Is this a short-lived trend or a segment that will continue to demonstrate double-digit growth and transform the way consumers enjoy wine? Does sustainability in the supply and value chain influence the quality of the product? What impact are technological developments having on consumer behaviour? Art and wine: does inspiration go both ways? Analogue vs Digital in the context of winemaking. What are the future prospects for the wine and drinks industry?

This blog will explore various wine topics that relate to the D*MN GOOD WINE brand and the future of wine. We’re excited to have you join us on this journey!
